Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what information Voltway ("the app", "we", "us") collects, how it's used, and the choices you have. Voltway is developed by an individual developer, Adecrown.

Information We Collect

• Account information — the email address and password you sign up with, and an optional display name. Passwords are never stored in plain text.
• Vehicle information — cars you add to your garage (make, model, trim, battery capacity, and any nickname or manual adjustments you make).
• Trip information — start and destination addresses and their coordinates, battery percentages, any waypoints you add, and the resulting route and charging-stop plan for trips you save.
• Location — if you tap "Use current location" when planning a trip, we request your device's precise location for that one purpose. We do not track your location in the background or at any other time.
• Subscription status — whether you have an active Pro subscription. Payment details (card numbers, etc.) are handled entirely by Apple and are never seen by us.

How We Use This Information

We use the information above solely to provide the app's functionality: planning routes, calculating charging stops, saving your trip history, and managing your Pro subscription. We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising.

Third-Party Services

Voltway relies on a small number of third-party services to function, each of which processes a limited amount of data for its specific purpose:

• Supabase — hosts our database and handles account authentication.
• Mapbox — calculates driving routes and renders maps. Route start/end/waypoint coordinates are sent to Mapbox to compute a route.
• Open Charge Map — provides charging station data near your route. Only coordinates are sent, never your account or personal details.
• RevenueCat and Apple — manage and verify Pro subscription purchases made through the App Store.

We do not use any advertising or analytics tracking services, and we do not track you across other apps or websites.

Data Retention and Deletion

Your data is retained for as long as your account exists. You can permanently delete your account and all associated data (garage, saved trips) at any time from within the app, under Settings → Delete Account. This action is immediate and cannot be undone.

Children's Privacy

Voltway is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Security

Data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS), and passwords are stored using industry-standard hashing.

Your Rights

You can access and correct your account and vehicle information at any time within the app. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time, as described above. If you have questions about your data that aren't covered by these in-app tools, contact us using the details below.

Changes to This Policy

If this policy changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the app after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
